Electro Acupuncture

Best for pain management and weight loss

Electro Acupuncture is an enhanced version of acupuncture. As with traditional acupuncture needles are inserted on selected acupuncture points along the specific meridians. The needles are then attached to a device that generates continuous electric pulses using small clips. The device is used to adjust the frequency and intensity of the impulse being delivered in order to strengthen the flow of Qi. The electricity will not go through your body and you will not feel any pain, just some rhythmic twitching.  This technique can enhance the effectiveness of any forms of joint pain, in particular neck and back pain.

What does Electro Acupuncture feel like?

You will not feel any pain but some rhythmic pulsing and vibratory sensation.  Most patients feedback that it is a pleasant and relaxing experience.

What can Electro Acupuncture treat?

- Chronic and acute pain (neck, lower back, sciatica, ankle-sprain, frozen shoulder, tennis elbow, carpal tunnel, other joint injuries or disorders)
- Neurological diseases
- Facial paralysis
- Weight loss
- Muscle spasms

Does Electro Acupuncture have any contraindications?

Pregnant ladies, anyone who suffers with seizures, anyone who has a history of heart disease or stroke and anyone who has pacemakers are not recommended to receive electro-acupuncture.

Testimonials . . .

"I was diagnosed with nerve damage in my right leg. The neurologist told me I needed an operation to try and correct this and there was only a 50% chance of the operation being successful. My friend, who is a client of Dr Fangs, advised me to have a course of treatments. After only 12 sessions I no longer feel pain in my right leg. With a mixture of acupuncture and chiropractic treatments he's healed me. It's unbelievable how affective his treatments have been. I cannot thank you enough Eddie. You're such a confident practitioner."
